Danika Carty is a senior dietitian at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre with over ten years of clinical experience across Australia and the UK, primarily specialising in haemato-oncology and bone marrow transplant. More recently she has developed a special interest in the nutritional management of patients undergoing Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cell (CAR-T) therapy, and in 2020-2021 was involved in the implementation of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation program for patients undergoing CAR-T at Peter MacCallum. Danika is also passionate about student education; she holds the dietetic Clinical Educator role at Peter MacCallum and regularly lectures and facilitates tutorials and patient simulations at Deakin University.
