Priscilla Gates PhD, MPhil, RN, is the recipient of the Executive Dean Health Research Postdoctoral Fellowship at Deakin University. She completed her PhD at the University of Melbourne in 2022 and her thesis explored cancer-related cognitive impairment in patients with newly diagnosed aggressive lymphoma undergoing standard chemotherapy. Her current post-doctoral research focuses on cognitive rehabilitation interventions for people experiencing cognitive changes after treatment for aggressive lymphoma. Priscilla has extensive experience in haematology nursing focusing on autologous transplantation and survivorship. Her passion is to improve outcomes for people with cancer and runs several funded research projects. Priscilla has published peer-reviewed journals and received many awards and prizes for her contribution to cancer nursing research.
