Dr Shaza Abo is a physiotherapist, clinician researcher. She works as the Physiotherapy Clinical Lead at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and as a Post-doctoral Clinical Research Fellow in physiotherapy at University of Melbourne. Shaza has over 10-years’ experience as a clinical physiotherapist, specialising in haematology, bone marrow transplantation, oncology, palliative care and intensive care in Melbourne, Australia and in London, UK. In 2022 she completed her PhD exploring exercise in adults treated with bone marrow transplantation. Her research interests include, but are not limited to, improving health-related quality of life and physical activity levels in those diagnosed with cancer and in people recovering from acute illness.
