Dr. Stephanie Lee is a Professor at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and the University of Washington. She holds the David and Patricia Giuliani/Oliver Press Endowed Chair in Cancer Research. Her research program focuses on outcomes after hematopoietic cell transplantation, with a focus on chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD). She is the Principal Investigator of the Chronic GVHD Consortium, a group of institutions that collaborate to conduct observational and therapeutic trials of chronic GVHD. also holds a number of leadership roles including Section Head of Hematologic Malignancies at Fred Hutch, Research Director of the Fred Hutchinson Transplant Long-Term Follow-Up Program since 2013, and Co-Scientific Director of the Immunobiology Working Group and the GVHD Working Group for the CIBMTR. She was the 2020 President of the American Society of Hematology.
